for me? This program offers qualified students training as laboratory technicians in the rapidly expanding job market of the biotechnology industry. What kind of job can I get once I complete the program? The curriculum is designed to give a strong chemistry and molecular biology foundation for entry-level employment in the areas of manufacturing, quality control and quality assurance. If you complete the biomanufacturing certificate you will be able to work in biomanufacturing or media preparation. How much can I earn in this career? Entry-level biomanufacturing technicians start at 30k per year. Please refer to Occupational Outlook Handbook for current information on salary and job prospects. How long will the program take? The biomanufacturing certificate is one year and gives students laboratory, computer, and communications skills identified by industry scientists as necessary for employment.
