in the rapidly expanding job market of the biotechnology industry.

The curriculum is designed to give a strong chemistry and molecular
biology foundation for entry-level employment in the areas of manufacturing,
quality control, quality assurance, and research and development.

Entry-level biotechnology technicians earn salaries of $12-$15 per hour

The program combines two years of study at City College with high school
preparatory courses to give students laboratory, computer, and communications
skills identified by industry scientists as necessary for employment.

- One year Physics or Principles of Technology with lab
